Restrictions and Regulations
1. Service available only for credit customers specializing in manufacture or transportation of medicines and vaccines.
2. If your shipment considers the use of a “datalogger”, it must be one of the models permitted on Aeroméxico Cargo; otherwise, you will need to process an authorization prior to shipment check-in. For more information, please contact your local sales representative.
3. Not available for shipment of medical equipment (biomedical equipment, coats, syringes, etc.)
4. All shipments are subject to the provisions of the general cargo contract and the provisions of the current Civil Aviation Act. Shipper is responsible for ensuring that the shipment complies with such provisions.
5. Aeroméxico Cargo Pharma is a domestic, airport to airport service restricted to direct destinations originating in Mexico City (MEX) in the Aeroméxico Cargo network.
6. Certain regulations and documentation requirements, in addition to what is published here may apply. Please make sure your shipment complies with all local regulations.
7. Shipment dimensions (length x width x height) and weight must not exceed aircraft limitations. (See Fleet)
8. Available on direct routes originating in MEX.
9. Route availability is according to current valid itinerary.
Check-in, Acceptance and Pickup
1. Shipments must be accepted and processed at the local ticketing counter up to 180 minutes prior to the estimated departure time of the selected flight. We recommend arriving at least 240 minutes prior to departure to make sure you have enough time to process all inspections and acceptance procedures. Dry ice as a coolant is accepted. Since these goods are considered Hazardous Goods, all information must be submitted 6 hours prior to flight. No warranty applies to cargo with dry ice as coolant. 2. Your cargo is considered as accepted once the air waybill has been issued and all inspections required by Aeroméxico and the local government have been duly completed.
3. Your shipment will be available for pickup 2.5 hours after the actual landing time for the selected flight; except for force majeure events beyond Aeromexico Cargo's control that hinder from meeting this time, e.g., heavy storm at the station, road closures to vehicular traffic, etc.
4. Each item of your shipment must be clearly labeled, including name and address of shipper and recipient.
5. Recycled or repurposed cardboard boxes are not accepted, or printed boxes that do not correspond to the products contained in them (e.g., egg boxes).
6. Your air waybill must include an available 24/7 contact.
7. Your shipment must contain all required documentation for local government according to type of good.

Packaging and Special Handling

Stations offering cold storage: Culiacán (CUL), Cancún (CUN), Guadalajara (GDL), Hermosillo (HMO), Mexico City México (MEX), Mérida (MID), Monterrey (MTY), Puerto Vallarta (PVR), San José del Cabo (SJD), Tijuana (TIJ), Villahermosa (VSA).
Customers are responsible for compliance with maximum weight per container, as well as for use of cushioning material.
It is mandatory to declare an exact description of the product, in case of aerosols or liquids, hand over MSDS documentation to counter staff for validation of shipment. NO generic descriptions will be accepted.
Packaging conditions:
