Restrictions and Regulations
1. All Aeroméxico Cargo High Value shipments must include a valuation statement and are, therefore, all subject to valuation charges.
2. Items valued at more than MX$ 1,000,000.00 per air waybill are subject to special approval.
3. Shipment dimensions (length x width x height) and weight must not exceed aircraft limitations. Individual restrictions apply, according to the type of equipment used in flight. (See Fleet)
4. All shipments are subject to the provisions of the general cargo contract and the provisions of the current Civil Aviation Act. Shipper is responsible for ensuring that the shipment complies with such provisions.
Check-in, Acceptance and Pickup
1. Your cargo is considered as accepted, once the air waybill has been issued and all inspections required by Aeroméxico and the local government have been duly completed.
2. Your shipment will be available for pickup 2.5 hours after the actual landing time for the selected flight; except for force majeure events beyond Aeromexico Cargo's control that hinder from meeting this time, e.g., heavy storm at the station, road closures to vehicular traffic, etc.
3. Each item of your shipment must be clearly labeled, including name and address of shipper and recipient.
4. Recycled or repurposed cardboard boxes are not accepted, or printed boxes that do not correspond to the products contained in them (e.g., egg boxes not transporting eggs).
Packaging and Special Handling
1. Shipments must be adequately packaged to ensure safe transportation.
  - · Rigid cardboard, wooden, or metal box.
  - · Cardboard envelopes, in the case of documents.
  - · Boxes lined with kraft paper.
  - · Exterior wooden grating
  - · Cushioning material
  - · Plastic coating (Vitafilm)
2. Packaging must be undamaged at the time of check-in.
3. Packaging must be properly sealed and strapped.
4. Exterior wooden grating is intended to prevent direct impact and damage to the contents of the shipment.
