Restrictions and Regulations
1. All shipments are subject to the provisions of the general cargo contract and the provisions of the current Civil Aviation Act. Shipper is responsible for ensuring that the shipment complies with such provisions.
2. Aeroméxico Cargo Standard is an exclusive domestic service available for the 41 destinations included in the Aeroméxico Cargo network within Mexico.
3. Delivery guarantee for destinations with flight or ground connections should consider an additional 12 hours.
4. Aeroméxico Cargo Standard is a general air cargo product offering airport-to-airport services without specific flight guarantee.
5. All shipments must comply with local regulations and Aeroméxico Cargo’s Catalog of Freight Acceptance Criteria.
6. Certain regulations issued by local governments may apply. Please make sure your shipment complies with all local regulations.
7. Shipment dimensions (length x width x height) and weight must not exceed aircraft limitations. (See Fleet)
8. Only general cargo is admitted.
Check-in, Acceptance and Pickup
1. Each item of your shipment must be clearly labeled, including name and address of shipper and recipient.
2. Your cargo is considered as accepted once the air waybill has been issued, provided there are no wrong statements or any goods considered not valid for transportation, and all inspections required by Aeromexico and the local government have been completed.
3. Recycled or repurposed cardboard boxes are not accepted, or printed boxes that do not correspond to the products contained in them (e.g., egg boxes).
4. Your shipment will be available for pickup 2.5 hours after the actual landing time for the selected flight; except for force majeure events beyond Aeromexico Cargo's control that hinder from meeting this time, e.g., heavy storm at the station, road closures to vehicular traffic, etc.
Packaging and Special Handling
1. Hazardous Goods that are not listed as restricted, are not considered for general cargo, and cannot be accepted as Standard. Please consider additional time if your shipment contains hazardous materials.
2. Lithium ion/metal batteries are considered hazardous materials. For shipments containing these types of goods, please check Aeroméxico Cargo High Tech.
