Restrictions and Regulations
1. Not available for Live Animals, Hazardous Goods, or Human Remains.
2. Not available for at home delivery.
3. Shipment dimensions must not exceed the dimensions allowed for each type of aircraft (See Fleet).
4. Aeroméxico Cargo GOLD is a domestic service exclusive for flight segments. None of the ground segments may be acquired as Gold product.
Check-in, Acceptance and Pickup
1. GOLD shipments must be accepted and processed at the local ticketing counter up to 180 minutes prior to the estimated departure time of the selected flight. We recommend arriving at least 240 minutes prior to departure to make sure you have enough time to process all inspections and acceptance procedures.
2. GOLD shipments must be checked-in at the ticketing counter of your local Aeroméxico Cargo office (located near the terminal).
3. Your cargo is considered as accepted once the air waybill has been issued, provided there are no wrong statements or any goods considered not valid for transportation, and all inspections required by Aeromexico and the local government have been completed.
4. GOLD shipments will be available for pickup 2.5 hours after the actual landing time for the selected flight; except for force majeure events beyond Aeromexico Cargo's control that hinder from meeting this time, e.g., heavy storm at the station, road closures to vehicular traffic, etc.
5. Each item of your shipment must be clearly labeled, including name and address of shipper and recipient. Please be sure to remove any labeling or markings related to prior shipments.
6. All GOLD shipments containing high value items must be properly valued. Valuation is an optional service, if not performed, customer is subject to the provisions of the Civil Aviation Act.
Packaging and Special Handling
1. Any special commodity that is not detailed in the Restrictions section and marked as restricted, may be transported as a GOLD product. Please consider additional time if your shipment contains materials requiring special handling.
2. Dry ice, as a coolant, may be accepted for shipment as a GOLD product; however, it must be specified as Hazardous Goods, this being the only exception to the transportation of Hazardous Goods.
