Restrictions and Regulations
1. All international shipments are governed under the IATA shipment rules. Shipper is responsible for abiding by all such rules.
2. Additional government regulations may apply, and they may vary according to location. Make sure all shipments or documents meet local regulations.
3. Aircraft limitations apply. Maximum weight and dimensions must not exceed aircraft limitations.
4. Delivery route should only include certified Specialized Pharma stations.
Check-in, Acceptance and Pickup
1. Shipments must be accepted and processed at the local cargo facilities 180 minutes prior to programmed flight departure. We recommend arriving at least 240 minutes prior to such limit time in order to guarantee you have enough time to process all inspections and acceptance procedures.
2. General shipments must be checked-in at the Aeroméxico Cargo local office (located near the terminal).
3. Your shipment is considered as accepted once the air waybill has been issued, assuming no wrong declarations have been made, or that your package does not contain prohibited goods, and that all inspections required by Aeroméxico and the local government have been duly performed.
4. Shipments will be available for pickup 2.5 hours after actual landing time for the selected flight; except for any force majeure or events beyond Aeromexico Cargo's control that hinder from meeting this time, e.g., heavy storm at the station, road closures to vehicular traffic, etc.
5. Each item of the shipment must be clearly labeled including name and address of shipper and recipient. Remove all prior labels and markings.
Special Handling
1. Shipper is responsible for packaging resistance, making sure it can withstand at least 48 hours on domestic flights and 72 hours on international flights without refrigeration.
2. Shipments must be packed to ensure safe transportation with usual care in handling, avoiding any injuries or damage to person or property.
3. Shipments should not be held in coolers for more than 24 hours, unless subject to an extended customs hold or extenuating circumstances.
4. Ask about approved active and passive containers.
